job-watch is early software offered free of charge. These terms are deliberately plain.
The service
job-watch watches public job postings and ranks them against criteria you provide. It is a search tool, not a recruiter or an agent. We do not apply for anything on your behalf and have no relationship with the companies whose postings appear.
No guarantee of completeness or accuracy
Results depend on third-party sources that can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and on automated scoring that will sometimes rank a good job low or a poor one high. Nothing here is advice. Always read the original posting on the employer’s site — every result links to it — before acting.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Use a real address you control, since it is how results and password resets reach you. One account per person. Free accounts are limited to a small number of active searches.
Acceptable use
Don’t try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, resell its output, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee, and may change or stop at any time. We will give reasonable notice by email before deleting your data on purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the service — including an opportunity missed because a posting was not surfaced.
Ending it
Delete your account whenever you like; everything attached to it goes with it. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
